This game is amazing! I get to live the dream of being a truck driver, without leaving the comfort of my home. Although I wish there was more exploration in other states, Idaho the most. The only problems I ever have is occasionally it will crash and goes to my most recent saved game, which can be quite annoying. My computer is pretty old so it's probably just my computer. Other than that, the game is quite fun and I love exploring around seeing the sites, it might be a game, but it still has some beautiful scenery. 10\/10P.S. It's fun driving down a 55 mile road at 100 mph blasting country music.. Almost as good as Euro Truck Simulator. ATS has more boring roads and terrain at a lot of places which makes ETS still my favorite truck sim. I have never been to the USA so no idea how realistic the terrain is, but it is probably boring in real life as well :) Other than that it is basically the same simulator game as ETS, ATS just needs to grow some more with more maps\/states you can drive through. I am also missing a nice vegetation mod in ATS, the default vegetation could be better (except for the palm trees). I have also found a few minor issues with speed limits, such as a town center with a 55mph speed limit, but those minor issues are also present in ETS.90\/100. Took a load to Cali, got cut off and break checked by a prius pushed him into a cop car, nice heafty fine and repair bill..YUP it's a true sim alright, they nailed Cali drivers.Took out a loan, upgraded garage, bought (2) W900 Day Cabs, hired a driver that slept most of the time, fired her\u2665\u2665\u2665\u2665\u2665 hired a habeeb, fired him far from Bakersfield, just cause I can... I know to most people this game seems pretty sad and boring, but its actually pretty entertaining for a number of reasons. One of the most impressive things about the game is The Controls. Strange i know, but the game allows you to play on allmost any controller, steering wheel ,or other device and tweak the game to fit exactly how you want to play. This allows allmost anybody to enjoy this game, even if your used to playing on consoles. Another good thing about this game is The Trucks . Although the base game only boasts a few trucks and brands, the trucks there are, are fantastic, both in the way which they handle and the interior\/exterior models. The interiors of the trucks are covered in working dials, and high quality details, which really helps sell the realism. Another noteworthy thing about this game is The Enviroments . This game hosts a veriety of unique and interesting enviroments, and places to explore, although quite a few of the smaller areas do look pretty similar. If i am being completly honest, some of the enviroments could have done with some improved texture and shaders, as they can sometimes pull the player out of their immersion. An important thing to note before purchasing this game is The A.I . One of my biggest problems with Euro Truck Simulator was the sometimes awful A.I, and there seems to have been minimal improvement here, as some ofthe A.I drivers seem to be incapable of correctly interacting to other drivers, and player indications and inputs. This is something the developers really do need to focus on, as it can cause alot of frustration, when the player is attempting to progress in the game's jobs, which see the player transporting a large amount of different types of cargo across the map, which is one of the games biggest flaws. The base games Map\/Gameworld really is pretty small when compared to the huge map of the previous game. A great feature this game includes is The Radio, which allows the player to import their own music into the game by placing it under the folder found in your documents. This feature also allows you to access a large ammount of radio stations via the internet, and listen to them, whilst traversing the gameworld. While i do enjoy this fature as it allows me to further enjoy the game, it really hasn't changed much since the previous game, which sadly reflects my opinion on this game very well. The Main thing people enjoy when playing this game, is how relaxing it is, and how the game immers the player in a realistic driving experience, which isn't found in many other places nowadays.If i had to give this game a score, it would probably be around 7.8, as the game is kind of fun, unique, and relaxing, although it hasn't really changed enough from the previous game to make me rate it higher, as the previous game still has alot of issues which have not been resolved. I would still recommend this game though, especially if you have a good controller od steering wheel, as it really does take the game a step further.. really fun game if you like driving this is the game for you even if youre not into trucks. He assigned Thomas Whitehead as a project manager of the game.4) @thomasbw84 was very helpful and stress-tolerant and he carefully nullified every conflict which could but thanks to him never happen. He was partnered with Gary Chen for Japanese release.5) Besides everything Gary Chen found really maze-like algorithms some annoying bugs had used. Together with Thomas they passed my vision to Shou Shiki who drew this amazing art.6) And, damn, Shou Shiki made the best possible Ringo ever ) I don't know maybe Koizumi made some insights for the characters but I didn't tell him anything )7) Chie Koizumi proofread all Japanese dialogues once again so overall Japanese localization became even better.
